Hell, yes.
I’ve been reading comic books on my iPhone for a few months now, and toyed with the idea of subscribing to Marvel’s online repository for unlimited access for $60/year, but there are a few things that are unappealing in both mediums. One is automatic zooming in the iPhone app (ComiXology) that basically locks you into viewing any particular part of a page when you’re going through. Even panel by panel, large panels are broken up into different views that you must go through. It’s a much more guided experience than simply flipping through real pages. My problem with reading on my computer is just that, I either have a laptop on my lap or chest or I’m sitting at a desk. Less than ideal, to say the least.
In any case, another point in favor.

Panelfly, a beautiful comic book app for the iPhone, has announced their plans to support the iPad. They’ve already mocked up a great selection of screens—each showing incredible attention to detail and level of innovation for a yet unreleased OS.
