One thing I’ve noticed is that with iBooks, I’ve tended to touch the screen on accident several times with my right thumb, and getting back a page I’ll end up doing with my left index finger, and by swiping rather than tapping. It’s sensitive, it’s true.
I’ve also found myself endlessly distracted by the page-turn animation, where I’ve found that I’ve stopped reading and am just looking at the animation of the page as I drag it across the screen. I definitely would have been farther along reading my book in a Kindle by now, but that interaction is just so much fun. Where does “delight” cross the line? It’s distracting, but fun.
