Redesigning the Boarding Pass
It’s been a while since I’d seen this post, and there has since been many other design attempts and an actually very good boarding pass that already exists from New Zealand Air. My only gripe is that the seat looks like a laptop.
A nice set of proposed redesigns from Tyler Thompson and a few of his readers. I’ve used this very exercise with design teams to stress the importance (and execution) of good visual hierarchy.
